Major posse cut vibes from the CMPND camp, as they bless us with the latest video from their debut LP. Hindenburg sees the Brighton trio teaming up with some notable characters from the scene, as HERBiCiDE, Dike, Fliptrix, NuphZed and Stinkin Slumrok all jump on board another filthy beat from Wundrop.
He’s the brains behind the production throughout the album, which saw its full release last Friday. As far as debuts go, it’s a strong entry point for CMPND, who already boast a number of solo and collaborative projects in their respective catalogues. The album takes a step away from some of the more traditional boom bap flavours that High Focus are perhaps more inclined to deliver and instead pile on board a number of bass heavy, trap style numbers, which you will already be familiar with if you had been following the single releases in the run-up to the album’s release.
