With the wave of their recent comeback video still riding high and with the imminent arrival of their Part Deux: Brick Pelican Posse Crew Gang Syndicate album, Cult of the Damned have announced a UK tour. The crew will be passing through six cities in total, over three consecutive weekends in April and May. It is going to be a full gang experience, with Lee Scott, Milkavelli, Black Josh, Stinkin Slumrok, Sniff, Salar, Sly Moon, Barebase, King Grubb, Bill Shakes, Bisk and Tony Broke on the bill, as well as a special UK appearance from Canada’s own cult associate, Danny Lover. Plus Reklews, Sam Zircon, Jazz T and Sumgii holding down the decks.

There had been rumours circulating that COTD were coming back with new material and then they were confirmed with the announcement that we would get a new video today. And sure enough, I woke up to find Civilised plastered over multiple timelines.
It is definitely full gang, as Barebase, King Grubb, Salar, Bill Shakes, Lee Scott, Black Josh, Milkavelli, Stinkin Slumrok and Sniff all drop verses, with Sam Zircon and Bisk handling production. Suitably grimy aesthetic, further cementing Blah and their various off-shoots as the no fucks given older brother of some of the other UK rap labels. The excellent single take video was made by aboveGround.

It’s easy to lose track of Lee Scott’s various projects and which songs relate to which releases because he brings out so many in quick succession. If you’ve ever read any interviews with the Blah MC, then you will know that he literally doesn’t know how to stop making music and as a result he is always sitting on about four or five projects.
DONOVAN is the latest track to be lifted from his SUPERGOD5000 project, which was released at the end of last year. The track is produced by DEW8 and features fellow Blah boys, Will Sniff, Stinkin Slumrok and Salar. The video was filmed by Lyza.

Your friendly local cult leader and rap don, Lee Scott, just released his brand new project. Humbly titled SUPERGOD5000PLUS, the EP is eight tracks strong, with Estonian production entity, DEW8, handling all the beats. We have already been treated to two videos, which emerged in quick succession last week and I’m happy to confirm the rest of the EP/album/whatever you want to call it follows in the same fashion. Loads of features from Sniff, Milk, Slumrok, Salar, Black Josh and Nah Eeto. You can stream the whole thing below and you can cop a download over on Bandcamp. Read the rest of this entry »

Bisk is back with a bang as he prepares to take us all on a trip to Gutter City. The Swamp Harbour general has been steadily releasing solid project after solid project, laying waste to the idea that quality and quantity are mutually exclusive. Read the rest of this entry »

Check the latest video from the Morrstinkin album, which Stinkin Slumrok and Morriarchi released earlier in the year. Duh Duh sees the duo on typically fine form, with a nice little visual accompaniment from ApeNinja. The album is still available to buy from all the usual spots, including the Blah store.

Another week, another new video from the Morrstinkin album. This one was shot by Mark Worst & HUW. You can buy the album, in all its glory, over at the Blah store.

The long-awaited Morrstinkin album is finally out on all formats and to celebrate there is another new video from the project. Swamp Harbour resident Bisk is on hand for this one, as him and Slumrok slay another beast of a beat from Morriarchi. Morrstinkin is available to buy now from the Blah store, among other places.

For those of you not in the know, Swamp Harbour is yet another cult within a cult, comprised of three of Blah’s finest. Stinkin Slumrok, Bisk and Sam Zircon have been working together under the SH banner for a while now, but we haven’t had an official release as yet. It looks like that is going to change though as this track was released last week, along with the news that a Swamp Harbour album is on the way. No Response also features DOS member Jack Danz.
