A fresh cut from the new Pitch 92 album just landed, featuring another hero from the UK scene. Comin’ Home is the next taster from Pitch’s looming album, Intervals, and features a routinely competent guest spot from Verbz. The video was made by Honey JD (surprise surprise). Pre-orders for the album are available now, with the release set for 27 August.
A short burst of brilliance here from Pitch 92 and King Kashmere, as they connect on Iph-Ro. The increasingly prolific, Honey JD, is the brains behind the video. You can also download and stream the single at all the usual spots.
Sticking with the High Focus camp, another loosie popped up this week, thanks to Verbz’s latest offering. Calling Me Back features a fresh collaboration with the ever-prolific, Illinformed, and yet another slick video from Honey JD (that’s three in a row). Streams and downloads are available here.
Next up I’ve got the brand new single from Pitch 92, which was released earlier today. Live From London sees the High Focus producer once again joining forces with Jehst, successfully continuing the chemistry they’ve captured on their previous collaborations. Just this loosie for now, but I’m hoping there’s more from both of them on the way to us soon. Streams and downloads are also available.
The crud is thick on this new release from Datkid, which sees him teaming up with Illinformed for a double whammy of unadulterated street stories. The mini-movie that accompanies the tracks was made by Honey JD. Fat Lip and One Way or Another are both available now via High Focus.
More new music from Strange U, as they deliver the second part of their new 7″. Arm Leg follows on from Maybe, which surfaced earlier this month, and combines the same murky production and bursts of vocal distortion that have elevated them to become one of High Focus’s most popular acts. And quite right too, as they are formed from the combined force of two established UKHH veterans – King Kashmere and Dr Zygote. The 7″ vinyl is available to pre-order now and features artwork from that mischievous collage maker, Matt Littler.
A very welcome return from Strange U, with the arrival of a brand new video which surfaced last week. On Maybe we find the dynamic duo questioning everything, as King Kashmere delivers his doubts over some fresh Zygote production. The track is taken from a forthcoming 7″ release, which is due shortly on High Focus. Pre-orders are available now.
Out My Face is the latest video from TrueMendous and her recent HUH? EP. Featuring production from Chemo and visuals from Leon Matthews, the track marks another win for the Birmingham rapper. HUH? is out now on High Focus.
The latest album from Verbz and Mr Slipz was finally given life last week, and to coincide with the release the duo decided to bless us with another video from the project as well. Decline of Self is just one of the more thought provoking tracks on the album, strengthened by a couple of tight features from Confucius MC and Coops. The video was made by Honey JD. Radio Waves is out now via High Focus.
Today saw the release of the latest single from Verb T and Illinformed, as they continue the rollout for their forthcoming album. City Limits features fellow In The Balance artist, Chillman, as well as another slick video from Parallel Media. The Land of the Foggy Skies is due for release on 11 December via High Focus.
