This is the new video for the title track from Ramson Badbonez & DJ Fingerfood’s upcoming Hypnodic album. The album marks a welcome return for Badbonez, following on from his successful 2013 album, A Year In The Life Of Oscar The Slouch. The album is due out on High Focus on 16 June, with a launch party at Birthdays in Dalston that night. You can pre-order the LP here.

Check out the next track from Leaf Dog’s new album to be given the video treatment. The Reminder features fellow Four Owls member, BVA, as well as verse from the Ultramagnetic OG himself, Kool Keith. Dyslexic Disciple is out now on High Focus.

Pleased to see the arrival of the first single from the upcoming Hypnodic collaboration between Ramson Badbonez and DJ Fingerfood. Verses Eye Spit sets the bar high for what is to follow, with Badbonez’s inimitable flow fitting Fingerfood’s hard drums and cuts like the proverbial glove. The full album is due out on 16 June on High Focus, with pre-orders available here.

Here is the next audio leak from Jam Baxter’s Mansion 38 album. Wristband is again produced by Chemo and contains a sample of the man himself singing, which was recently used on Feel from Kendrick’s new album.

Yet another new video from the recently released Leaf Dog album. This time it’s Window, which is produced by Illinformed. Dyslexic Disciple is out now on High Focus.

One of my favourite tracks from Jam Baxter’s latest opus has got its own video. Shot on location in his Mansion 38 apartment in Bangkok, Bulletproof was filmed by Lee Scott – apparently in 15 minutes. Looks like a crazy time. The album is out now on High Focus, featuring excellent production from Chemo.

The next video from Leaf Dog’s new album made its debut yesterday. Glass Eye is produced by Illinformed. The album, Dyslexic Disciple, is out now on High Focus.

Check out the next offering from Jam Baxter’s latest album, which has further established him as one of the nation’s most innovative MCs. And with good reason. It’s always going to be hard to follow an album that was lauded as much as So We Ate Them Whole, but he and Chemo have managed to pull it off. Read the rest of this entry »

DJ Frosty is probably best known for his longstanding allegiance with the LDZ gang, but more recently he has come to the fore thanks to his role in the new Chapsville project, alongside Dabbla. I had a quick chat with him about his early days, the birth of LDZ, crate digging and supporting Rag N Bone Man. Read the rest of this entry »

I had to write ‘everyone’ cos I literally cannot fit all the MCs names into the title. 20 rappers, eight bars a piece. Safe to say this is a monumental track from Leaf Dog, as he continues to build on the intrigue for his forthcoming album, Dyslexic Disciple. Phi Life Cypher, Smellington Piff, BVA, Cracker Jon, Jehst, Jack Jetson, Dirty Dike, Verb T, Sonnyjim, Mysdiggi, Klashnekoff, Fliptrix, Bill Shakes, Eric The Red, King Kashmere, Remus, Task Force and DJ Sammy B-Side providing the cuts. Pre-orders for the album are available here.
