Skyzoo and Pete Rock treat us to the second single from their forthcoming abum, featuring an altogether ridiculous list of guests. The NY duo are joined by four lyrical heavyweights on Eastern Conference All Stars, as Griselda’s Westside Gunn, Conway and Benny The Butcher all hitting the booth, with Detroit favourite, Elzhi completing the line-up. It’s as powerful as you can imagine and you can hear for yourself below. The album, Retropolitan, is due for release on Mello Music Group on 20 September.

Excellent new release from The Alchemist, as he drafts in a whole wealth of talent on his latest project. The Bread EP features Earl Sweatshirt – the video for which was released last week – alongside appearances from Conway, Westside Gunn, Black Thought and Roc Marciano. Considering the whole thing only weighs in at four tracks – plus four instrumentals – Alc has managed to cram in a hell of a lot of dope. It also features some of the most glorious cover art of 2018. The Alchemist hit us with a new project on Friday, featuring a host of heavy-hitting MCs. Roc Marciano, Action Bronson, Styles P, Benny the Butcher, Westside Gunn and Conway all stepped into the booth, with the LA producer lining up four de rigueur drumless loop based beats for them to slay. The Lunch Meat EP can be streamed below and downloads/limited edition vinyl are available here.
Statik Selektah has a new album coming out next month and yesterday gave us another glimmer of what to expect from the project, thanks to the release of No. 8. The track features a blistering set of bars from Griselda’s finest, Conway and Westside Gunn, as well as Statik’s regular collaborator, Termanology. The album is released in full on 8 December, with pre-orders available now.
