Way back in 1994, I was given a tape by a kid in my school. On one side was Illmatic and on the other was Enta Da Stage. That was it for me, I was an instant rap fan, largely thanks to Buckshot & 5ft’s raw lyricism.

The Beatnuts classic 1997 track, Off The Books, is getting the 7″ vinyl reissue treatment from the good folks over at Get On Down. Featuring a killer opening verse by Big Pun and enough quotables to fill an entire issue of The Source, this is a must for vinyl fiends.
