Another great track from the recent Aver album, Dressed For CCTV. The Fear Of Being Offline is actually a remix of a track by an Argentinian band of the same name. The video was made by Ja-m-es. Dressed For CCTV is out now on Village Live Records.
On 2 November, Village Live are going to be releasing the new album from UK producer, Aver; the follow up to his stunning 2017 project, Die Berlin Dateien.
Something From Nothing is the lead single from the album and today I am pleased to be able to bring you the premiere of the brand new video. The track features Nottingham heavyweight, Cappo – the sole feature on the project – and the pair deliver a strong start to what looks set to be another jewel in the Village Live crown.
Dressed For CCTV will be available on all the usual formats, via the Village Live store and there will also be a one-off test press of the vinyl available for sale on 28 October, which you you will be able to find here. The album itself will be available to pre-order from 7pm on 29 October.
Another new video from the excellent Aver album, Die Berlin Dateien. The LP is available from Village Live Records, with vinyl shipments starting tomorrow.
Village Live continue their recent run of formidable instrumental releases, with the latest album from Aver. Perhaps best known as the head producer of hip hop collective, The Natural Curriculum, Aver made the album while living in Berlin. That explains the German speech samples laced throughout the project, which are backed up with syncopated drum breaks and cuts from his fellow TNC family members. Check out the mini-mix below as well as the first video from the album, Portale. You can download Die Berlin Dateien here. Continue reading “Aver: Portale”
