D’Lyfa Reilly: Out of Darkness

D’Lyfa Reilly is the latest MC to join forces with Village Live Records, as the label gears up to release his new album. It’s produced in its entirety by fellow label mate, Aver, which is always a good sign, and as you can hear from the lead single, they have got a good thing going. Extra poignancy too, as this was the last album that was overseen by the late Joey Deez, who was a co-founder of Village Live alongside Doug aka Remulak. The video for Out of Darkness was made by Tarnish Vision. Time & Tide is due for release in the coming months, so more news on that soon.

Pitch 92 ft. DRS: Makes No Sense

Pitch 92 has already been responsible for one of UK hip hop’s highlights this year, thanks to his superb 3rd Culture album. The album features an expertly curated collection of artists, including fellow Manny resident, DRS, who appears on Makes No Sense. The video for the track was released today and was made by Tarnish Vision. 3rd Culture is out now on High Focus.

Serial Escapist is a good insight into the feel of the whole album, which you can hear for yourself in full below. The video was made by Tarnish Vision.
