D’Lyfa Reilly is the latest MC to join forces with Village Live Records, as the label gears up to release his new album. It’s produced in its entirety by fellow label mate, Aver, which is always a good sign, and as you can hear from the lead single, they have got a good thing going. Extra poignancy too, as this was the last album that was overseen by the late Joey Deez, who was a co-founder of Village Live alongside Doug aka Remulak. The video for Out of Darkness was made by Tarnish Vision. Time & Tide is due for release in the coming months, so more news on that soon.

Illaman ft. DRS: Times Of Change
Great video from the recently released Illaman EP, Give Us a Smile. Times of Change is produced by Norm Oddity, with a typically tight feature from DRS. The video was made by Tarnish Vision. The EP is out now on Potent Funk.
DRS: Serial Escapist + Album Stream
Nice cut from the recently released DRS album, From The Deep. It’s an album that somehow didn’t receive much fanfare, or at least not on my radar, despite DRS being one of the more popular names on the UK scene and the fact that the whole album is produced by Pitch 92. Serial Escapist is a good insight into the feel of the whole album, which you can hear for yourself in full below. The video was made by Tarnish Vision.
