A very strong start to Vulgatron’s (Foreign Beggars) solo venture as he unleashes his new track – Deadman. It’s a riotous collision of dubstep and grime, backed up with some hefty production from Mark The Beast and Nitepunk. The video was made by Tarnish Vision. Stay tuned for more from Vulgatron coming soon.

Pitch 92 has already been responsible for one of UK hip hop’s highlights this year, thanks to his superb 3rd Culture album. The album features an expertly curated collection of artists, including fellow Manny resident, DRS, who appears on Makes No Sense. The video for the track was released today and was made by Tarnish Vision. 3rd Culture is out now on High Focus.

Great video from the recently released Illaman EP, Give Us a Smile. Times of Change is produced by Norm Oddity, with a typically tight feature from DRS. The video was made by Tarnish Vision. The EP is out now on Potent Funk.

It’s an album that somehow didn’t receive much fanfare, or at least not on my radar, despite DRS being one of the more popular names on the UK scene and the fact that the whole album is produced by Pitch 92. Serial Escapist is a good insight into the feel of the whole album, which you can hear for yourself in full below. The video was made by Tarnish Vision. Read the rest of this entry »

New music from LEVELZ, as the Manchester collective return with the LVL 47 aka Warning Call. This time round mic duties are handled by Sparkz, Chimpo and Black Josh, with Metrodome and Sparkz on the beat. As usual you can grab a free download over on Bandcamp. The video was made by Tarnish Vision.

Honoured to be able to bring you the world premiere of the latest video from Children of Zeus. Still riding high on the wave of the release of their triumphant debut album, Travel Light, the Manchester duo now return with some new visuals for one of the album’s many high points, Fear of a Flat Planet. The track also features the distinctive talent of fellow Manny family member, LayFullStop, along with another striking video from Tarnish Vision. Travel Light is out now on First Word Records.

It’s been just over a year since we had a solo project from Black Josh, but for those of you fiendin’ out there, fear not cos the man is back with a new mixtape. It’s called Brexit and it is going to feature loads of new music from the Manchester MC, including this Torai produced nugget, Little Rock. Pre-orders for the mixtape are available now via iTunes.
