DOOMTREE offshoot SHREDDERS are due to release their new album shortly and Suburban Base is the first offering we’ve had from it. The quartet – comprised of P.O.S, SIMS, Paper Tiger and Lazerbeak – deliver a pulsating, DnB tinged jam, which acts as another great strengthener for your Monday morning energy levels. The album, Great Hits, is available for pre-order now.

SIMS x AIR CREDITS x ICETEP: Hologramme
There is a new project looming from the Midwest as Sims, Air Credits and ICETEP unite for Artería Verité. Billed as a dystopian concept album, it is starting to sound more like a report from the near-future, as is the case with most things of that ilk when combined with the current state of play in the world. Hologramme is the first track from the project, with SIMS and ShowYouSuck from Air Credits handling the raps, while ICETEP and Steve Reidell smashing the production. You can stream the track below and watch out for more from the group coming real soon. Continue reading “SIMS x AIR CREDITS x ICETEP: Hologramme”

A quick hop across the Atlantic now to catch up with the latest from SHREDDERS, as they continue riding the wave of their recent album release, with a brand new video for Entertainment. Sims: Audiotree Live Session
Sims recently released his new album and so he dropped into Audiotree to showcase some of the latest material. This is the full session – 37 mins in total – and is a good example of why Sims has always been up there with my favourite indy rappers. Continue reading “Sims: Audiotree Live Session”
Sims: Brutal Dance (Video)
And again. I posted the audio for Sims’ new single Brutal Dance and then two days later a video emerges. Produced by ICETEP, this is another song lifted from the new album – More Than Ever – which is due out next week.

Sims: OneHundred (video)
Not long ago Sims dropped a new audio track off and now he’s back with a video to go with it. OneHundred is a visual trip with kitsch imagery aplenty, thanks to Otis N. Stanley’s handiwork. The single signals the not too distant arrival of Sims’ new album More Than Ever, which is due out on 4 November.
