This is the latest venture for Caxton Press MC, Manage, as he teams up with Blitz to form Code Name Theory. Their album is due out soon on Revorg Records and if this first track is anything to go by, we’re looking at a strong debut from the duo. Stone Folk is produced by Manage and the video was shot by AMS.
Ill Move Sporadic and Big Toast are already well established and respected entities within the UK hip hop scene, thanks to a number of projects that have emerged from both camps over the past few years. Most recently, IMS joined forces with Tenchoo for the incredible Panic Room EP, while Toast has enjoyed success with his Save Yourself Kill Them All collaboration, alongside Sofa King and also thanks to his part in UK supergroup, Gatecrasherz. Now the three of them have joined forces for You Are Not Special, an album which promises to deliver the best of both their worlds in one tidy and maybe slightly disturbing package. The album is due for release in August, so I had a chat with them to see what we can expect from the album and to find out a little bit more about what makes them tick. Another day and another supergroup, as Revorg Records’ Gatecrasherz unleash their debut LP on the world. The five man crew is comprised of Downstroke, Gee Bag, Oliver Sudden, Jack Diggs and Big Toast, so we know the quality is going to be high and we have already had a couple of tasters, thanks to their lead singles, Say Rah and 2-3 Break. New music from the Revorg Records camp, as Gatecrasherz release their latest video. The crew are set to release their debut album in the not too distant future and judging by the tasters they’ve given us so far, it’s going to be a strong project. More news on that coming soon.
A bumper release here from the Revorg camp, as Jack Diggs drops off this weighty collection of some of his instrumental work. 27 tracks in total – plus an extra one featuring Croydon’s finest Cracker Jon – and all of them full of snap and crackle, as the title suggests. As if that wasn’t enough, it’s on a free download too, so no excuses. You can cop your download here.
New video for the title track from the quintessentially misanthropic Sofa King & Big Toast EP, Save Yourself Kill Them All. If you haven’t checked the EP yet, do yourself a favour and head here to cop a free download.
So this is a big track. The latest offering from the Save Yourself, Kill Them All EP, from TPS Fam’s Big Toast and London producer Sofa King. This track, Mind Wars, features a whole lot of other talent too, as the duo are joined by MCs Gee Bag and Skrabl, as well as soul vocalist Greg Blackman. Peep the video, then cop the EP over at the Revorg Bandcamp.
A supergroup of sorts here, as Downstroke, Gee Bag, Oliver Sudden, Jack Diggs and Big Toast unite to form Gatecrasherz. Anyone looking for fluffy rhymes about kittens & such, back away from the track now. Stay tuned for more from the gang coming soon, with their debut album dropping on Revorg in the summer.
Check out the latest video from Jack Diggs‘ blinding new album, Blue Rain. Glass Home was released last week, along with the album itself which you can pick up now from Revorg Records.
Nice instrumental from TPS member Jack Diggs, as he prepares to release his new album. Blue Rain will be dropping on Revorg Records soon. Watch this space for more information.
