Cheech x Dubbul O x Reklews: GORE

Cheech, Dubbul O and Reklews have made a project together and very good it is too. Inspired by the two MCs love of all things WWE, the album is based around the Acolytes Protection Agency and features numerous references to the sports entertainment franchise that has gripped so many for so long. Gore is your first taste and a good benchmark for what is to follow. No release date as yet, but word is it won’t be too far off.

Sleaze & SonnyJim: Paranoid City

I like to think I have my finger relatively on the pulse when it comes to UK rap, but a few releases somehow pass me by, like this new LP from SonnyJim & Sleaze. This is the follow up to their 2011 Work in Mnemonics EP. Sleaze is sadly residing at Her Majesty’s pleasure at the moment, but Sonny had made a promise that this project would see the light of day and he stuck to his word. Sleazy F Baby: All Blahk Tracksuit

Sleazy F Baby has been one of my ones to watch this year, ever since he burst out of the Blah camp at the end of last year with his single, From the Bits. Since then we’ve been treated to a couple more tracks and a few appearances on other Blah projects, as well as the announcement of his debut album, All Blahk Tracksuit, which is scheduled for release on 1 July. Bisk: Raw Sh!t

Sticking with the Blah lot, this week saw the release of the debut EP from Bisk. Featuring heavily on a number of recent projects, notably the Don Pong LP & the Children of the Damned tracks, Bisk has already made a name for himself which he plans to cement with the Raw Sh!t EP. Fliptrix “Land of the Lost”

I’m a big fan of this new one from Fliptrix. “Land of the Lost” is another single to be taken from his recent “Mind Travelling” EP and as with the rest of the EP, things are on a philosophical vibe. With a nice beat from Reklews, laced with some live piano and cello from Runone, kick back and wrap one for this. You can buy the EP on iTunes.
