Ray West & Zilla Rocca: Revolution #36

Pleased to see that the new video from Ray West and Zilla Rocca, is for one of my favourite tracks from their recent album, Rowhouse Whispers. Revolution #36 is an ode to lifelong musical loves and the connections across generations, with Zilla specifically focusing on his love of the Wu and his dad’s love of The Beatles. The video was made by PremRock. The album is out now on Red Apples 45.

Curly Castro & Zilla Rocca: Grift Company EP

Following on from the excellent Billy Batts single last month, Curly Castro and Zilla Rocca with the full Grift Company EP. More of the same grade A lyricism, rugged production and criminal themes run throughout, with a couple of surprises thrown in the mix. The Zero’s Yours, produced by El Carnicero, sounds like it could have been a lost beat from Leftfield’s first album and ELUCID makes a typically dope appearance on the closing track, Philly Crime. Production comes from Zilla, Ray West and Kitech. You can stream the EP below and downloads are available from the Wrecking Crew store. Continue reading “Curly Castro & Zilla Rocca: Grift Company EP”
