Analog Brothers: More Freaks

The Analog Brothers renaissance continues as another video emerged this week, this time for More Freaks. I already expressed my love for this concept album, which originally saw the light of day back in 2000 and then found itself thrust back into the spotlight, thanks to a reissue from indy favourites Mello Music Group. Ice-T, Kool Keith, Marc Live, Pimp Rex and Black Silver are the players, with Gorilaman X handling the filming. The album is available to buy now via MMG.

I’m a big fan of niche collaborative concept rap albums (who isn’t?), so things like Leak Bros, Handsome Boy Modelling School, Deltron 3030 all get regular plays in my house. Another classic for me was always the Analog Brothers’ 2000 album Pimp to Eat.
