Kid Acne: Fresh To Death (Stream)

New arrival from Kid Acne, as he rejuvenates some of the choice cuts from his 2019 Have A Word LP, with a blinding selection of remixes from some of the UK’s finest beat fiends. Fresh To Death features a handful of tracks from the original album – produced in full by Spectacular Dianostics – which have been tantalisingly reworked by some of my favourite producers. On the bill we find new sounds from Theorist, Hashfinger, Chemo, King Kashmere, Norm Oddity, Percy Filth and Nappa, as well as vocal features from Juga-Naut and Juice Aleem, who both appeared on the original album. Each producer brings their own flair to the proceedings, allowing them to make the track their own, while still keeping the original flavour alive. Fresh To Death is available to download now via Bandcamp, and there are also a limited run of cassettes available, which all come signed and numbered. Percy Filth ft. Geechi Suede, Maylay Sparks & Guilty Simpson: Precious Metals + EP Stream

To celebrate the arrival of the new Percy Filth EP, today the Louis Den producer dropped his second video from the project. Precious Metals features a lot of lyrical muscle, as Percy channels the power of Geechi Suede, Malay Sparks and Guilty Simpson into the track. There are also some nice cuts, courtesy of Bristol scratch master, DJ Rogue, and a superb animated video from the forever on point, Chris Lucas. Percy Filth ft. King Kashmere: Vibranium Deluxe

For those of you not in the know, Percy Filth is gearing up to release his latest producer album, Vibranium Deluxe. To set the mood for what’s to follow, yesterday saw the release of the title track, featuring none other than Strange U and Gawd Status galactic overlord, King Kashmere. The full project boasts more equally impressive names, as the Louis Den producer teams up with the likes of Geechi Suede and Guilty Simpson. The album is due for release on 4 November, so expect more on that coming soon.

Redbeard: Turn Back Time + EP Snippets

Good to see the arrival of new music from Redbeard. The EatGood MC has been away from the booth for a minute, but has now graced us with a new EP, which includes this GuMSouL produced joint, Turn Back Time. You can also hear some snippets from the rest of the EP below, featuring beats from Percy Filth, Kosyne and more.

Percy Filth & Greg Blackman ft. Jack Jones: Stank Nebula

This is the first video from an interesting new release on EatGood Records. The collaboration between Percy Filth and Greg Blackman has been brewing for a while, so its good to see that it was worth the wait. Featuring appearances from SonnyJim, Ty, Mystro, Kosyne and Jack Jones (Soundsci), alongside a blend of soulful vocals and new wave hip hop beats, this is set to be one of the most adventurous projects of the year. Percy Filth & Mylo Stone “Kang” ft. Juice Aleem, Twizzy & Bil Next

This is the latest track from Percy Filth and Mylo Stone’s “End of Level Boss Music”, to be given the video treatment. “Kang” features a meeting of the mics from Birmingham to Bristol, as Mylo Stone teams up with fellow Bristol beat bruisers, Twizzy and Bil Next (Split Prophets), as well as Brum mic veteran, Juice Aleem.
