Somehow this new one from Tree and Parallel Thought slipped under my radar when it was released at the end of last month. I’ve been a fan of Parallel’s production ever since I heard his work on Tame One’s solo album, as well as his collab with Del. Pleased to report this project sustains my admiration for his beats and if you’re a regular visitor to the blog, you will already know I’m a big fan of Tree as well, so this collaboration was always going to go down well with me. The new EP from Brooklyn’s finest, Mr MFN eXquire is out now and I’ve gotta say, it’s one of my favourite releases from him in a while. Brainiac features production from Tame One favourite, Parallel Thought, as well as The Alchemist, Canya Reial, CONSTROBUZ and Bowery Beats. There is also a guest spot from Meyhem Lauren, but it’s eXquire who makes the EP such a success. Hear it for yourself below, or alternatively it’s available to buy over on iTunes.
