Parallax: In Doubt For Too Long

Parallax starts off his year the right way, with a great track called In Doubt For Too Long. It’s accompanied by a brilliant video too, courtesy of This & That Media, who are easily my favourite videographers in the game right now. Some of the effects in this are blinding. The track is self-produced and is lifted from Parallax’s recent album, Auditory Vision, which is available to buy now via Bandcamp.

Parallax: Auditory Vision (Stream)

A quality debut album from one of the finest purveyors of boom bap in the UK right now, as Parallax releases Auditory Vision. Having built up a name for himself through live shows and his 2014 EP, Depth Perception, the London MC has spent the last few years putting together his debut full-length. The wait was well worth it, with AV demonstrating exactly how his talents have been honed in that four year interim. The features help to bolster the album’s appeal too, with Rakaa Iriscience, C.A.M and Phoenix Da Icefire helping Parallax tear down beats from the likes of Ded Tebiase, Nappa and Wickstarr. Auditory Vision is available to stream in full below and there are also downloads, physicals and merch to nab over on Bandcamp. Continue reading “Parallax: Auditory Vision (Stream)”

Parallax ft. Rakaa Iriscience: Round & Round

Pleased to see the arrival of the much-anticipated new video from Parallax. For Round & Round, the London MC connected with the mighty Rakaa Iriscience of Dilated Peoples fame, before the pair visited each other’s respective homelands for the video shoot. The track is produced by Roeg du casq and will feature on Parallax’s upcoming LP. Round & Round is available to stream/download from the usual spots.
