Verses Bang treats us to another video from his recent EP, as he drops a fresh visual for Let Down, produced by Oozhe. The EP, Dressed To Kill.. Myself, is available now over on Bandcamp.

Oozhe: Pigeon Feed 5
UK producer, Oozhe, takes a break from smashing out beats for the likes of Verses Bang and Ocean Wisdom, to bless us with the fifth instalment from his Pigeon Feed beat tape series. From the triumphant slaps on the appropriately named opener, Enter, to the scratch infested head-nod vibes of Stage 33, Pigeon Feed 5 is a perfect addition to the series. Oozhe is able to straddle the line between boom bap styles and more contemporary flavours, without sounding like he’s pandering to the stalwarts from either group. You can stream the tape below, with streams and downloads available from the usual spots. Continue reading “Oozhe: Pigeon Feed 5”
Verses Bang: In The Nude Interlude
New music from Verses Bang and his recently released Dressed to Kill… Myself project. I’ve been waiting a minute to hear it, but it was all worth it, as one of the more unique characters in UK rap brings his brand back to the masses. In The Nude Interlude is produced by regular collaborator, Oozhe, who orchestrated the beats on the whole project. Dressed To Kill… Myself is out now on all the usual platforms.
Skrabl: Double XP
Troll Gang representative, Skrabl, has been hidden away in the lab working on his new album. He has apparently been working so hard, that he even has spares tracks to offer us while we wait for the main event. Double XP is produced by fellow TG member, Oozhe and if this is a cut that didn’t make the album, it’s safe to say the final project is going to be pretty special. You can stream the track below and you can get a download over on Bandcamp. Continue reading “Skrabl: Double XP”
Datkid x Oozhe: Deep Water
New joint from Oozhe and Datkid, which sees (hears?) the Split Prophets MC switch up his flow to great effect. Oozhe is always reliable for knocking out a banger and Deep Water continues the trend. Be interested to hear more from the two of them; I reckon they could make some waves if they did a whole project together. You can stream Deep Water below and downloads are available on Bandcamp. Verses Bang: Casey Jones
Verses Bang is about to hit us with a new release, following on from 2017’s Versace Rings & Chest Pains. Casey Jones is the first leak from the project and sees the MC teaming up with regular accomplice, Oozhe. Dressed To Kill… Myself is due out on 30 March.
Skrabl: 26 Letters
Another great video from Skrabl’s most recent and equally great album, The Emperor’s New Garms. 26 Letters is produced by fellow Troll Gang rep, Oozhe. The album is available to download here.
VersesBang: Versace Rings & Chest Pains
There is a big album from TrollGang affiliate, VersesBang, which came out yesterday and deserves to find a way into your collections. If his recent posts on FB are anything to go by, then this album is not the by-product of happiness, rather the opposite, but that is often the best catalyst for brilliant art as far as I’m concerned. Having enrolled fellow TG member and prevalent producer Oozhe to build all the foundations, the result is 11 tracks of perfectly blended beats and rhymes.
There is definitely an emphasis on life’s ups and downs, but all laced with Verses’ brand of humour and wordplay, which brings any notions of self-pity and self-deprecation into a more palatable mix. There is only one feature, from Tommy Dockerz, but that’s good cos Verses is rightfully the star of this show. The album is available to stream below and you can download your copy over at Bandcamp. Witness Mc: Display of Force
Strong new release from Witness MC, who is definitely going to be one of the ones to watch in 2017. Featuring production from the likes of Oozhe, Jmin and Jabbathakut, as well as a guest spot from Brad Slade, as far as debuts go this is how it should be done. Continue reading “Witness Mc: Display of Force”
Skrabl: Venom
On Saturday I posted about the excellent new album from Skrabl and so to keep with that theme, here is a dope new video from him too. Venom is produced by Oozhe and the video was made by Jam Jar Propaganda, who put together some great visual effects. The album is available to buy here.
