Lively DnB collaboration from Caxton Press MC, Amy True, as she unites with one of the leading lights in the UK jazz renaissance, Nubya Garcia, for this Sleepy Time Ghost remix of her track, Changes. The video was made by Global Faction.

I have just spent a bit of time digesting the new album from DJ Yoda and I am happy to report that it is another win for the Cut and Paste legend. Last year we were treated to the album’s first single, London Fields, featuring Joel Culpepper, which was a very obvious yet successful departure from Yoda’s previous material. The rest of Home Cooking continues in the same vein, with production levels at such a high standard, you end up feeling like this might have been Yoda’s calling all along. Intriguing project from High Focus, as Coops’ favourite, Talos, releases his debut solo EP. I say intriguing because if this first taste is anything to go by, it signals a shift away from the reliable hip hop parameters that have rightfully earned HF their legions of fans. This is a heavily jazz influenced track, made even more apparent by the appearance of Nubya Garcia, the London-based jazz saxophonist and composer. Great start to the EP and it’s definitely piqued my interest for the rest of the project. You can stream/download the Lowlight EP at all the usual spots.
