Homeboy Sandman: Name

More pleasant raps from Homeboy Sandman, with the release of his latest video. Name is the next single to be lifted from his acclaimed album, Dusty, which was released last year and featured full production from Mono En Stereo, who cooked up a lively horn-flecked beat for this track. Dusty is available now via Mello Music Group.

Homeboy Sandman: Dusty (Stream)

Homeboy Sandman recently released his latest album and for me it’s one of the best we’ve heard from him in a while. Seemingly every artist who finds themselves under Mello Music Group’s wing, also finds themselves releasing some of their strongest work to date and Dusty is no exception. Only one of the tracks has features, with Your Old Droog and Quelle Chris joining the Queens MC on Lookout, leaving the majority of the album free for you to get mesmerised by Sandman’s intricate flows. The production is handled in full by Mono En Stereo. The album is out now via Bandcamp and you can stream it in full below.

Homeboy Sandman: Far Out + Album News

New music from Homeboy Sandman as he announces the imminent arrival of latest album. It was a few months ago when the Queens MC signed to Mello Music Group, which led us to believe that a new project would be follow. Featuring Quelle Chris and Your Old Droog, the album looks set to be another jewel in the crown of both Sands and MMG. You can hear the first single, Far Out, below and pre-orders can be found on Bandcamp.

New video from Your Old Droog, featuring two tracks – The Cheese and Under The Train – neither of which appear on his latest album, which saw its release last week. The tracks feature production from Mono En Stereo and Droog, as well as a video cameo from Pharoahe Monch as the bus driver. The Mach-Hommy produced album, It Wasn’t Even Close, is out now on all the usual platforms and formats.
