A nice little mix here from Telemachus, as he reveals more audible details from his much anticipated album. The compellingly titled, Boring and Weird Historical Music, is due for release next month and with the lead single already in existence, we can now sample some more of its delights. The visual accompaniment was created by Blake Dunlop. Pre-orders for the album are available now via High Focus.

Koast: Exclusive Mix
A while ago I thought about starting a series of exclusive mixes for my blog, so I put the feelers out and got some great responses, but failed to capitalise on it at the time. However today, I can bring you what will hopefully be the first of a series, thanks to Bristol legend and all-round asset to the music scene, Koast. The Durkle Disco boss has knocked up a wild ride through what feels like a global showcase of grime, UK funky, dubstep and beyond, thanks to tracks emanating from the UK, Holland, France, Ghana, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Congo and Brazil. It weighs in at 64 tracks and 96 minutes, kicking off with Bristol favourite, Snowie, before getting stuck into tracks from Kojey Radical, Naira Marley, Roska, Snowy, Zed Bias, Gabriel Waves and a whole lot more. You can find the full tracklist below, as well as the mix itself. As well as Tom’s Durkle Disco involvement and his DJ sets, Tom has also been a key player in the rise of SWU.FM, the new Bristol radio station which begins broadcasting shortly. For more information on what’s in store, you can find them on all socials as @swu.fm. Continue reading “Koast: Exclusive Mix”
Mr Thing: The Source (Stream)
A stunning new mix from UK turntable legend, Mr Thing, just landed. The Source is a fine blend of breaks and samples, chopped up with the precision of a Japanese sushi chef. You can hear the mix in its full glory below.
Ramson Badbonez & Jazz T: The Pick & Mix Experience

Ramson Badbonez has put out some quality releases over the years and Jazz T had picked and mixed some of our favourites into this 30 minute jam. It’s at ‘name your price’ now over on Bandcamp and you can stream it below. Continue reading “Ramson Badbonez & Jazz T: The Pick & Mix Experience”
Children of Zeus: Sunsets & Soulfood Mix
Children of Zeus have been added to this year’s Soundwave line-up in Croatia and to celebrate that fact, they have put together a mix which is pretty much guaranteed to kill any trace of your winter blues. The 50 minute mix features a nice selection of cuts from the likes of Anderson .Paak, BJ the Chicago Kid and Joyce Wrice, as well as Konny & Tyler themselves. You can stream it below and I’ve included the tracklist for easy reference. Enjoy. Continue reading “Children of Zeus: Sunsets & Soulfood Mix”
