Surprise new track from the Cult, fresh off the back of their recent COTD tour. BUBBLEWRAP sees Milkavelli, Lee Scott and Sniff get busy on a Sumgii beat that treads a fine line between head-nod and wavy. The video was made by Vikki Digby-Johns and DEW8. Stay tuned for SUPERGANG coming soon.
It’s been cold as fuck for too long now, but a saving grace is that it is inspiring new music (maybe). Take Nebraska, the new joint from Milkavelli, Black Josh and Lee Scott. Produced by Levelz own, Biome, the track is the best sort of filth, right from the opening bar. The opening shot says it’s Milk & Josh featuring Lee, so maybe that means we’re going to get a proper project from the two of them. The video was made by AboveGround.
With the wave of their recent comeback video still riding high and with the imminent arrival of their Part Deux: Brick Pelican Posse Crew Gang Syndicate album, Cult of the Damned have announced a UK tour. The crew will be passing through six cities in total, over three consecutive weekends in April and May. It is going to be a full gang experience, with Lee Scott, Milkavelli, Black Josh, Stinkin Slumrok, Sniff, Salar, Sly Moon, Barebase, King Grubb, Bill Shakes, Bisk and Tony Broke on the bill, as well as a special UK appearance from Canada’s own cult associate, Danny Lover. Plus Reklews, Sam Zircon, Jazz T and Sumgii holding down the decks.

Fresh music from Blah’s Canadian connect, as Danny Lover releases the first video from his latest album. Mr Cool is a classic example of Danny’s laid-back lyricism and flow, with Morriarchi’s sparse, stripped down production giving it the ideal backdrop. The album, Live From The UK, was made while Danny was visiting his label mates back in 2016. Continue reading “Danny Lover: Mr. Cool + Album Stream”
There had been rumours circulating that COTD were coming back with new material and then they were confirmed with the announcement that we would get a new video today. And sure enough, I woke up to find Civilised plastered over multiple timelines.
It is definitely full gang, as Barebase, King Grubb, Salar, Bill Shakes, Lee Scott, Black Josh, Milkavelli, Stinkin Slumrok and Sniff all drop verses, with Sam Zircon and Bisk handling production. Suitably grimy aesthetic, further cementing Blah and their various off-shoots as the no fucks given older brother of some of the other UK rap labels. The excellent single take video was made by aboveGround.
Your friendly local cult leader and rap don, Lee Scott, just released his brand new project. Humbly titled SUPERGOD5000PLUS, the EP is eight tracks strong, with Estonian production entity, DEW8, handling all the beats. We have already been treated to two videos, which emerged in quick succession last week and I’m happy to confirm the rest of the EP/album/whatever you want to call it follows in the same fashion. Loads of features from Sniff, Milk, Slumrok, Salar, Black Josh and Nah Eeto. You can stream the whole thing below and you can cop a download over on Bandcamp. In typical Lee Scott fashion, the Blah figurehead casually announced the imminent arrival of a new project last week. SUPERGOD5000PLUS is produced in its entirety by DEW8 (read: Dewey) and features all the usual suspects, including this joint with Milkavelli and Sniff. Pre-orders for the album are available now over at the Blah store.
A nice little lo-fi oddity from the Cult Mountain boys arrived a few days ago, to coincide with the two nights of madness they had planned in London for 616 & Friends. Life is So Hard is produced by Lee Scott and Trellion, with the multi-talented Jack Chard on synth duties. The track is available for download over on Bandcamp for the devilish sum of £616, or for free if you cop a pre-order on their latest hoodie.
In case you had not heard, Milkavelli released new music last week, in the form of his Cult Member mixtape. There are some really strong tracks on there, including this little beast, Where’s Olly? Produced by Sniff and with another great video from AboveGround, this is Milk at his finest. Cult Member is available to buy now from the DVL GNG store.
