Ness Nite: Tightrope (Video) + Album Stream

More pigeon hole defying, dream-like pop from Ness Nite and her latest video for Tightrope. We had already been treated to the audio a few weeks ago, but now we have an equally enjoyable visual for the infectious track, with Mike Frey once again hitting the mark behind the boards. Pleased to announce that Ness’ album is also out now in all its glory and judging by the initial acclaim, it looks set to push her further into the limelight. Ness Nite continues to build the anticipation for her album, as she releases her new single, Watercolor Roses. The Dream Girl LP looks set to be a cornucopia of pleasures if the first batch of singles have been anything to go by, with Watercolor Roses keeping the trend going in all its wavy glory. Ness Nite: Tightrope

Ness Nite follows up her spellbinding song, Expectations, with an infectious little rhythm called Tightrope. While its predecessor was a more wavy affair, Tightrope picks up the tempo a little bit, thanks to Mike Frey’s production. The song premiered over on Vinyl Me Please, where Ness explained that it “is about doing what you need to do to stay up. When I wrote it, it was about a specific situation, but it has evolved with me. ” This is the next track to be taken from her upcoming debut LP, Dream Girl, which is due out on POW Recordings next year.
