A fresh collab from Giallo Point, as he joins forces with yet another UK legend for his latest project. The Magnum Opus is the brainchild of Giallo and Micall Parknsun, with the duo finding a seemingly perfect synergy in their MC-producer partnership. The features only add to the album’s weight, as we find the likes of Jehst, Smoovth, Da Flyy Hooligan and Sonnyjim all adding their piece to the proceedings. Another strong cut lifted off the new album from Micall Parknsun and Giallo Point, which was released on Friday. Giallo Point looks set to continue his run of success with UK rap heavyweights this year, as he joins forces with Micall Parknsun for a forthcoming album. Let It Go is the first single and sounds as tight as you would expect from two artists of their calibre. The video was made by Dfacer and the album, Magnum Opus, is due for release shortly.

More gold from Shay D as she releases the next video from her acclaimed Human Writes album. No Stress is produced by Micall Parknsun and the video was made by Chiba Visuals.

Continuing the theme of strong link-ups, today also sees the release of the debut project from Gawd Status. A debut it may well be but this is not Gawd Status’s first musical journey, as in their individual forms, King Kashmere and Joker Starr have long been major presences on the UK rap landscape. Firmamentum is a psychedelic joy on the ears, boasting a heavy guestlist, including features from Big Cakes, Micall Parknsun and Anyway Tha God. You might also recognise the cover art as being a brainchild of the man behind Strange U’s album artwork, Matt Littler. Firmamentum is available now via Tru Thoughts and you can stream it in full below.

Pleased to see the arrival of Juga-Naut’s latest solo album, Bon Vivant. It rounds off another strong year for the Nottingham artist, following on from a string of solid collaborations, including his Purple Door project with SonnyJim, as well as his own Found Objects release back in February. Bon Vivant sees Jugz summoning the collective strength of a number of UK luminaries to assist with the project, including Joe Buhdha, Micall Parknsun and his fellow VVV brothers, Cappo and Vandal Savage.
