Mr Cool is a classic example of Danny’s laid-back lyricism and flow, with Morriarchi’s sparse, stripped down production giving it the ideal backdrop. It’s easy to lose track of Lee Scott’s various projects and which songs relate to which releases because he brings out so many in quick succession. If you’ve ever read any interviews with the Blah MC, then you will know that he literally doesn’t know how to stop making music and as a result he is always sitting on about four or five projects.
DONOVAN is the latest track to be lifted from his SUPERGOD5000 project, which was released at the end of last year. The track is produced by DEW8 and features fellow Blah boys, Will Sniff, Stinkin Slumrok and Salar. The video was filmed by Lyza.
A few months ago I was asked in an interview which rappers to watch and two of my three answers came from the Blah camp. One of the names I put forward was Bisk, the Swamp Harbour MC who has been steadily releasing solid projects since February this year, when his debut EP dropped.
