Nice release from CLBRKS here, which came out a couple of months ago. Peugeot Music Vol. 1 is a wavy, glitchy, head nodding, lo-fi trip, with CLBRKS distinctive flows finding suitable resting places on beats from the likes of Drae Da Skimask, Tides, Tusken and ATLS. I’m always a big fan of rappers who cans still kill a track without ever taking themselves too seriously. Children of Zeus blessed us with a new single this week, a track they first performed at the Boiler Room last year. It’s now been polished up and is going to be available on a limited vinyl run on First Word Records. The flip-side will be a different vibe, as the BPM raises on Don’t Say a Word.
