Check out the latest sounds from the Green Brick Records camp, as Lazy Eyez drops his brand new video. Heavy is produced by JMax and is the first official cut from the Pupils of the Clock MC, since the triumphant release of his debut solo LP back in February. The video was made by NineFive. Heavy is also available to download and stream.

Another great video from the equally great Lazy Eyez album, which emerged recently. Fly Away is produced by Lords & Royals, with vocal assistance from Babychaz. The video was made by Upraw. Coastline to Cityscape is out now on Green Brick Records.

Pleased to finally be able to share the debut solo LP from Lazy Eyez. The South West MC has been steadily building his rep thanks in part to his work as one half of Pupils of the Clock and now has reached a position where he feels ready to strike out with this solo effort. The title of Coastline To Cityscape is a reference to Lazy’s relocation from his hometown of Truro up to Bristol. It was in Bristol that he met Res One and Badhabitz of Split Prophets fame, before eventually becoming their first signing on Green Brick Records. Read the rest of this entry »

Another tight track from the forthcoming debut solo album from Lazy Eyez. For Square One, the Pupils of the Clock MC teams up with Mac Lloyd, who brings his talents to the production, as well as the soulful hook. Coastline To Cityscape is out on Green Brick Records on 25 February.

One of the releases I’m looking forward to this year is the debut solo LP from Lazy Eyez. The Pupils of the Clock MC has been one of my ones to watch for a minute now and this project will further demonstrate exactly why. Icarus is the lead single from the album, with Lazy going back to his roots over some solid production from Ed Zilla. The video was made by This & That Media. Coastline To Cityscape is out on 25 February on Green Brick Records.

Happy to be able to bring you the premiere of the latest video from one of my favourite crews, Pupils of the Clock. The Bristol-based duo put out a blinding debut album at the start of the year, with DMT being just one of the many gems to be found on there. The production comes from Richy Spitz and the video was made by This & That Media. Keep a look out for more POTC music coming soon, as well as solo projects from both Tok and Lazy Eyez. Their Timeless LP is available now via Bandcamp.

Pupils of the Clock MC, Lazy Eyez, recently announced his new affiliation with the recently formed Bristol label, Green Brick Records. Own Wave is his first official release on the label and sets the bar pretty high for what’s to follow. The track is produced by fellow label mate, Badhabitz and the video was made by Bucket Hat Jack.

Great track from Split Prophets dons Res One and Badhabitz, as they unite with Pupils of the Clock’s own Lazy Eyez for Stay Real. This is the debut track from the newly formed Green Brick Records and it’s the first of many, so definitely going to be keeping an eye on them. The video was made by Sektion Red.

Pupils of the Clock hit us with the next video from their excellent debut LP, Timeless. This time it’s Proof that gets the treatment, which is produced by Yogocop’s Wundrop. The video was made by Trav. Timeless is available to buy now over on Bandcamp.

Strong debut from South West rap duo, Pupils of the Clock and their Timless album. The pair – Tok and Lazy Eyez – have been steadily building their skills over the past few years and have now reached the point of bringing their music to the critical masses; suffice it to say it was worth the wait.
The list of production credits is testament to their skills on the mic, with names like Benaddict, Chillman and Wundrop all bringing their beats to the project. The result is 12 tracks of solid rap, laced with confidence beyond their years. Looking forward to hearing how they progress from here. You can stream Timeless below and downloads are available via Bandcamp. Read the rest of this entry »
