Dope little cut from Kosyne here, as he whiles away his quarantine hours in the home studio. He passed something of a milestone in birthdays recently and so he decided to record a little something to mark the occasion. And I’m glad he did because it’s been a while since I’ve heard Kos rap and he was always one of my favourites back in the day. The cuts are from DJ Cro and you can hear the track below, with downloads available on Bandcamp. Continue reading “Kosyne: 40 Ounce (Freestyle)”
Good to see the arrival of new music from Redbeard. The EatGood MC has been away from the booth for a minute, but has now graced us with a new EP, which includes this GuMSouL produced joint, Turn Back Time. You can also hear some snippets from the rest of the EP below, featuring beats from Percy Filth, Kosyne and more. Continue reading “Redbeard: Turn Back Time + EP Snippets”
Another impressive leak from the new SonnyJim album, as he teams up with Queens native & Das Racist alumni, Heems. Al Jazeera premiered on The Fader earlier this week and seems to have gone down well on both sides of the Atlantic. Just about to get my first listen of the Mud in my Malbec LP, so expect to hear more on that from me very soon.
At the start of the month the EatGood boys dropped this new compilation, featuring 13 tracks from all your favourite EG MCs and producers. Including exclusive joints from the likes of Booda French, Kosyne, Redbeard and of course head honcho SonnyJim, this is a good reminder of what made EG one of the strongest labels in the UK. Available to download now at name your price over at Bandcamp.
EatGood Records MC and producer, Kosyne, celebrated his birthday a few weeks back and instead of keeping all the presents to himself, he decided to give one to us in the form of The Birthday Tape EP. Continue reading “Kosyne: The Birthday Tape”
I’d almost forgotten about this little series of 100 bar onslaughts that Sonny blessed us with a couple of years ago, so this fifth instalment came as a nice reminder. The bars are as hefty as you’d expect from the EatGood don, all backed up with a crisp beat straight out of label mate Kosyne’s MPC. “Purple Patch 5” is available to download now from Bandcamp and you can “name your price”.
From one strong indy label to the next, this time it’s EatGood member Kosyne in the Chromosome Live Lab. Continue reading “Kosyne’s Chromosome Live Lab Session”
