A second drop this week from Lunar C, as he hits us with the next video from his most recent album. Desperado is brimming over with the same punchlines and braggadocios lyrics that have earned Lunar his tight following (“I’m not messing, Bradford repping/Where a 12 year-old gypsy girl will smash your head in”), along with some slick production from Killmoney. The album, Very Important, is out now.
Brand new video from Lunar C, as he gives a nod to his pals on Friends, which you can find on his excellent new album, Very Important. It’s available to stream now in all the usual places. The track is produced by Mash and the video was made by Killmoney.
A very welcome return to the blog from Lunar C, as he kicks of a new week with a brand new track. On Very Important, the Bradford MC outlines just how important he is compared to the rest of us mere mortals, over some stunning production from Jehst and Pitch 92. For a man who is already renowned for his highly skilled wordplay, Lunar seems to be getting even better which means his new album should push him ever higher into the UK rap stratosphere. The video was made by Killmoney and keep an eye out for a couple of cheeky cameos.
Hateration is the latest video from Leeds rap machine, ExP, and his excellent new Fully Fledged Fraud LP. As with the rest of the album, Hateration is fully written, produced and recorded by ExP, just in case any of you were in doubt about his talents. The video for Hateration was made by Lunar C favourite, KillMoney. You can hear the full album below, plus there are physical copies and merch available over on Bandcamp. Fresh rap singing from one of West Yorkshire’s finest, as ExP hits us with the new single from his upcoming album. Mr Ow Much is produced by ExP and is taken from Fully Fledged Fraud, which is due for release in July. Check the Kickstarter for more info and to slip him a few pounds. The video was made by KillMoney and Martin Lovegrove.
Lunar C just released the final video from his acclaimed Dirtbrain album and it’s another visual triumph for the Bradford MC. Hindsight follows in the footsteps of many great music videos over the years, by going down the claymation route. And very effective it is too. The video itself was made by KillMoney with Designasaur in charge of the animation. The track is produced by HashFinger. Dirtbrain is available now from all the usual platforms.
Another visual smash from Lunar C’s recent debut album, Dirtbrain. Running is produced by Pete Cannon and the video was made by KillMoney, who is fast becoming one of my favourite filmmakers thanks to his work with Lunar. Dirtbrain is out now.
ExP is championing a sentiment we can all get behind, as he releases the latest video from last year’s RemarkableUnremarkable album. You can still grab a copy of the album via Bandcamp. The video was made by KillMoney.
“That’s a mixtape, album’s coming soon” or variations of it, is something I’ve seen Lunar C have to repeat over and over again on Twitter for the past few months, ever since he dropped Jake (his mixtape). But now the torment is almost over as he readies himself to finally drop his album and shut his baying fans up in the process.
No surprises that the first leak from the album is a fucking dirty banger, with Lunar’s lyricism reminding anyone who might have forgotten, why he delivered and continues to deliver, such a devastating blow in battle rap and beyond. Skwolla is produced by Ocean Wisdom favourite, Muckaniks and the video was made by KillMoney. The album, Dirtbrain, is due for release on 11 May.
