Gi3MO: But Still.. + Album Stream

Superb video from Gi3MO, as he leads us into his equally superb new album, The Unmistakable, which was given life recently. But Still.. is a highly satisfying, RnB tinged number, self-produced by the man himself and is just one example of the breadth of different sounds the album ventures into. The full production on the album is handled by Giz and Rum Com in-house beat wizard, KD, with not a guest vocalist in earshot, marking a departure from last year’s feature-heavy, Big Gizzy is Boss mixtape. The Unmistakable is available to stream in full below and you can find other streaming/download options on the usual platforms. Continue reading “Gi3MO: But Still.. + Album Stream”

The video was made by Si Haze Films. You can stream Off Cuts below and stay tuned for the full-length Prehab album from Kong coming on 9 May. Continue reading “Kong: You Don’t Want It + EP Stream”

Captain Bukioe & KD: Feast or Famine

Great new project from Rum Committee, as Captain Bukioe and KD release their Feast or Famine EP. KD’s beats are as on point as ever, serving as the perfect backing for Bukioe to tear through and complimented by some nice guitar work from Eric Turner and Henry Clark. Bukioe is also Rum Com’s resident artist and is the man responsible for the dope cover art. You can stream the EP below and it is also available for free download from the Rum Com Bandcamp. Rag’n’Bone Man: Interview

Rag’n’Bone Man is one of those rare artists who has managed to make the leap from underground to mainstream, without losing any of their integrity. I was lucky enough to to chat with him recently about his early influences, staying grounded and his recurring themes of death and mortality, among other things. The interview took place at the Cypher Lounge at the Windmill in Brixton. Continue reading “Rag’n’Bone Man: Interview”
