Returning a bit closer to home for this next post, with the news that CLBRKS and Kiina are rekindling their collaborative flame for Habits 2. Where I Am Is Not Important is the lead single from the upcoming album and leaves us safe in the knowledge that both parties are still killing it in their respective corners. More news on the full album coming soon. The video was made by Honey JD.
Next up we have a return joint from King Kashmere, which sees him teaming up with Alecs DeLarge again. This time the duo have delivered a new perspective on their previously released track, North Star, thanks to DeLarge’s Evil Mix. Once again, it’s Honey JD on video duties and the track is available to stream now from all the usual spots.
New year, new music as I bring you two fresh cuts from the High Focus roster. First up, the latest from Verbz, as he connects with producer, Nil Wan, for I Know. The video was made by Honey JD and the track is available now on all the usual streaming platforms.
New raps from Dylan Gray, who is perhaps best known for his production work. I’m not sure if this is his first release as a rapper but either way, I hope he continues. The video was made by Honey JD.
The freshest of the fresh here from King Kashmere, as he brings us his latest single. North Star sees him returning to the lab with Alecs DeLarge, as well as teaming up with one of my favourite vocalists, Maddy. I’m hoping this means some sort of full length project is en route but for now, savour this latest gem. The video was made by Honey JD.
Another gem from Verb T and Illinformed, as they continue to ready us for the release of their third collaborative album. The video for Healing was made by Honey JD. No news on the album yet, but keep those eyes peeled.
Fresh off the reels comes the latest vide from Verb T and Illinformed, as they continue to get us in the mood for their upcoming album. The video was made by Honey JD. More news on the album when I have it.
Good to see CMPND back at it, as they drop off their first new single since the release of their debut album, Eagle Court, back in 2019. WEAINTPLAYIN finds the trio still at their grimiest and still as on point as ever, reigniting that same infectious energy with Wundrop on the beat. Knowing High Focus, this will likely be the start of an album rollout, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for more news on that coming soon. The video was directed by Honey JD.
Sticking with the High Focus camp, another loosie popped up this week, thanks to Verbz’s latest offering. Calling Me Back features a fresh collaboration with the ever-prolific, Illinformed, and yet another slick video from Honey JD (that’s three in a row). Streams and downloads are available here.
Next up I’ve got the brand new single from Pitch 92, which was released earlier today. Live From London sees the High Focus producer once again joining forces with Jehst, successfully continuing the chemistry they’ve captured on their previous collaborations. Just this loosie for now, but I’m hoping there’s more from both of them on the way to us soon. Streams and downloads are also available.
