BroomMan: Rats (Stream)

The reemergence of one of the more distinctive voices in UK rap, as BroomMan delivers his latest album. The Herrotics MC and producer has been releasing self-described ‘weirdo shit’ for years now, but as the old saying goes – one man’s weird is another man’s treasure, and that’s exactly what we have on offer here; a weird and wonderful treasure trove of rap oddities. Rats is produced by BroomMan for the most part, with TobyToga providing the beat on DYS. You can stream the album below and downloads are available over on Bandcamp.

Lee Scott: Dead Canary

Lee Scott recently unearthed this previously unreleased track, which was originally intended for his 2014 Tin Foil Fronts album. Dead Canary features production from Herrotics’ finest, Broom Man. You can stream it below.

Herrotics: Soge

Got a few videos to post from the Blah Records camp, starting with the most recent one from the brilliantly surreal Herrotics album that came out at the end of last month. It’s not often I get personal on here, but at the moment I am going through a bit of crisis, involving my eviction among many other things. I am not a man of much wealth so things like this always knock me for six, especially when you combine it with my long-term mental health problems.

Blah Records have released a new mixtape, which serves as a showcase for some of their newer releases, including the likes of Herrotics, Lee Scott, Tommy Dockerz, Tony Broke, Oddysee, among many others.
