Here is the second part of my Lee Scott interview. I was beginning to think it was cursed due to how many problems it’s given me. But here it is, finally. To give you a bit of background, we had been planning to do an interview for a while, but timing had never been right. Then Lee messaged me one Friday night while I was on the way to my girl’s house. He said he’d been up since 5am and so it would be a good time to chat shit. So I rang him and we spoke for an hour about all the stuff you see below and in the first part (which you can find here). Loads of stuff about the early Blah days, meeting Milk for the first time and what projects he has lined up for the future. Continue reading “Lee Scott: Interview Pt. 2”

HAPPYPPL: Timon Squared
This is the latest visual cut from the HAPPYPPL project, one of my favourite releases of 2017 so far. Lee Scott & Trellion are on point, on another sweg-laden beat from Sumgii. You can cop the EP here.
HAPPYPPL ft. Milkavelli: Manzel
More video action from the recent HAPPYPPL project, which Lee Scott and Trellion released. This particular joint features fellow Cult Mountain dweller, Milkavelli and a great video from frequent collaborator, Vikki Digby-Johns. The animated bits were put together by Spud Kingett. You can buy Things To Do In Happy Land When Ur Dead over on Bandcamp.
HAPPYPPL: Swayze Point
Another new video from the forthcoming HAPPYPPL project, brought to us by 616 cult members Lee Scott and Trellion. The video was apparently filmed in 15 minutes on a Bangkok rooftop, in the midst of a lightning storm, which is probably a first for UK rap. Things To Do In Happy Land When Ur Dead is available to pre-order now over at the Cult Mountain Bandcamp.
HAPPYPPL: Mavis
This is the latest track from those HAPPYPPL – aka Trellion and Lee Scott. This time it’s FORMZ on the beat and he smashed it. Plus bonus points for their use of Audrey Horne in the visuals.
Lee Scott & Trellion: Heart Shaped U
Lee Scott and Trellion have teamed up once again to form HAPPYPPL. There is a full project on the way, but for now make the most of Heart Shaped U. The sinister production comes from fellow 616 DVLGNG resident Sumgii.
