Check out the latest sounds from the Green Brick Records camp, as Lazy Eyez drops his brand new video. Heavy is produced by JMax and is the first official cut from the Pupils of the Clock MC, since the triumphant release of his debut solo LP back in February. The video was made by NineFive. Heavy is also available to download and stream.

Another great video from the equally great Lazy Eyez album, which emerged recently. Fly Away is produced by Lords & Royals, with vocal assistance from Babychaz. The video was made by Upraw. Coastline to Cityscape is out now on Green Brick Records.

Pleased to finally be able to share the debut solo LP from Lazy Eyez. The South West MC has been steadily building his rep thanks in part to his work as one half of Pupils of the Clock and now has reached a position where he feels ready to strike out with this solo effort. The title of Coastline To Cityscape is a reference to Lazy’s relocation from his hometown of Truro up to Bristol. It was in Bristol that he met Res One and Badhabitz of Split Prophets fame, before eventually becoming their first signing on Green Brick Records. Read the rest of this entry »

Another tight track from the forthcoming debut solo album from Lazy Eyez. For Square One, the Pupils of the Clock MC teams up with Mac Lloyd, who brings his talents to the production, as well as the soulful hook. Coastline To Cityscape is out on Green Brick Records on 25 February.

One of the releases I’m looking forward to this year is the debut solo LP from Lazy Eyez. The Pupils of the Clock MC has been one of my ones to watch for a minute now and this project will further demonstrate exactly why. Icarus is the lead single from the album, with Lazy going back to his roots over some solid production from Ed Zilla. The video was made by This & That Media. Pupils of the Clock MC, Lazy Eyez, recently announced his new affiliation with the recently formed Bristol label, Green Brick Records. Own Wave is his first official release on the label and sets the bar pretty high for what’s to follow. The track is produced by fellow label mate, Badhabitz and the video was made by Bucket Hat Jack.

For The Love is the latest track to be lifted from the new album from Res One and Illinformed. The Bristol duo released A Dogs Dreams last week, the debut drop for Green Brick Records. Happy to see the arrival of the debut album from Green Brick Records, as Res One and Illinformed drop the long-awaited A Dogs Dreams. Featuring 11 tracks from the UK stalwarts, plus a whole host of guest spots from the likes of Inja, Verb T, Smellington Piff and Leaf Dog, as well as Res’s fellow Split Prophets, the album is a strong start for the fledgling label.
