Drapes: Let Them Talk

Drapes is fast becoming one of the more prolific rappers in Bristol right now and with another project looming, it looks set to continue in the same vein for a while. Let Them Talk is the next track to be lifted from 1s & 0s and features production from ENAM, who does a tight remix of a Snow Tha Product remix. The video was shot by JMB Media.

Sleaze & SonnyJim: Paranoid City

I like to think I have my finger relatively on the pulse when it comes to UK rap, but a few releases somehow pass me by, like this new LP from SonnyJim & Sleaze. This is the follow up to their 2011 Work in Mnemonics EP. Sleaze is sadly residing at Her Majesty’s pleasure at the moment, but Sonny had made a promise that this project would see the light of day and he stuck to his word.

This latest video from Jman is probably my new favourite. One Lickle Yout sounds like it’s going to be a laid-back sort of vibe, before the drums come in and Jman drops some typically strong bars. Simiah on production, the track is available to buy over at the GV Bandcamp.
