Dabbla continues his reign as the UK’s most popular rapper with a new video from his excellent Year of the Monkey LP. Everything is produced by fellow Dead Player, GhostTown and the video was shot by aboveGround.

Dabbla ft. Jam Baxter: Vomit

Fresh from the mind of Dabbla comes this new video, the latest leak from his forthcoming debut solo LP. Vomit sees him teaming up with his Dead Players family, Jam Baxter and GhostTown, all finished off with a nice little video from Vikki Digby-Johns. Year of the Monkey is out next month on High Focus, with pre-orders available here.

Dabbla: Stupid

Not many projects have got me as hyped as the debut solo LP from Dabbla. It’s been a long time coming, but in that time he has established himself as one of the UK’s best loved MCs, both by his peers and listeners alike. His album is not out until 9 September, but knowing the fiends that we are, he has blessed us with Stupid in the meantime.

Dead Players: Oh Well

No video this time, but check out the audio for the opening track on the latest Dead Players album. Oh Well is the perfect set up for what was easily my favourite UK rap album of last year, with Dabbla and Baxter both smashing any previous conceptions of how to flow.

Dead Players: Cooked

The latest from the excellent new Dead Players album, Freshly Skeletal. The trio have reached a more mature sound this time round, with Baxter and Dabbla both raising bars and pushing envelopes with their lyricism. GhostTown kills the production as usual. Later this month, the newly formed Dead Players will release their debut album on High Focus Records. The group is comprised of HF lyrical supremo Jam Baxter, LDZ’z finest Dabbla and your favourite rapper’s, favourite producer, GhostTown.
