Recognize Ali: The Outlawed

Recognize Ali returns with a new project, following on from his God’s Vision LP back in March. The Outlawed promises to deliver more of the same level of lyricism as its predecessors, if the tasters we’ve been given so far are anything to go by, including the recent Mug Shots track. The beat selection is on point, with the likes of Big Ghost Ltd, Farma Beats, El Ay and Frank Grimes all providing tight contributions. There are also some decent guest spots too, as Ali is joined by Da Flyy Hooligan, Daniel Son and Estee Nack, among others. Recognize Ali is gearing up to release his latest album, The Outlawed and to give the fiends something to savour in the meantime, he has dropped a new video from the project. Mug Shots is produced by Frank Grimes. The album is due for release on 26 August via Greenfield Music.

Mach-Hommy & Tha God Fahim: Dollar Menu EP

Great release from ex-Griselda affiliate Mach-Hommy and Atlanta’s own, Tha God Fahim. Dollar Menu features production from the likes of Sadhu Gold, Frank Grimes and Elucid, as well as Fahim himself. The two MCs are pretty different in terms of style, but they work well together on the mic. You can stream the EP below, with downloads available via Bandcamp.
