Foreign Beggars ft. Rag’n’Bone Man & Bangzy: Standard

Big tune from the Foreign Beggars family as they celebrate their 2 2 Karma Deluxe release. Standard features a killer verse from Rag’N’Bone Man – “I grew up on Task Force, Skinnyman, Rodney and Roots Manuva/Flew all the way to NY last week and heard man bump Dead Players in an Uber” – as well as some tight production from the always on point, Bangzy. The 2 2 Karma Deluxe edition is out now via Par Excellence and features this new track, as well as a selection of remixes.

DJ Nonames: State of the UK (Mix)

The homie Nonames has knocked up a blistering mix of UK rap as a sort of showcase for the thriving scene we have in this country right now. You might even find a couple of cheeky exclusives in there too. You can stream the mix and find the tracklist below. Continue reading “DJ Nonames: State of the UK (Mix)”

Foreign Beggars: Toast VIP

The Beggars are back with a ridiculous line-up for the VIP remix of their recent banger, Toast. When the original emerged from the ether, we were treated to a lesson in blitzkrieg bars from Izzie Gibbs and Dizmack, as they smashed the Alix Perez co-produced beat to smithereens. But if you thought that was a lot, wait until you press play on this madness. Sparkz, Truthos, Physiks, Illaman, Mad Hed City, Killa P, Marger and Jumanji all jump on and in the process create an early contender for posse cut of the year. BANG.

Problem Child ft. Orifice Vulgatron: What You Want?

Fresh from the finest purveyors of that hybrid rap shit, comes a special new track and video. Problem Child have called on the mighty Foreign Beggars for What You Want?, with Orifice Vulgatron bringing his inimitable flow to Sumgii’s dirty production. Not only that, but the video features none other than comedian and rap fan, Romesh Ranganathan. The video was made by Slim Yearwood and the track is available to buy now over on the Potent Funk Bandcamp page.
