Magno Garcia: God Aura (Video)

Another solid release from Boston MC, Magno Garcia, as he drops the video for his 2018 track with Farma Beats. The video was made by Axel El Cid. Catch up on all Magno’s releases (there are a lot) over on his Bandcamp.

Mooch x Farma: Heroin Farms

Another transatlantic collaboration for Farma, as he teams up with Mooch for Heroin Farms. The New York MC is an easily identifiable voice in a sea of carbon copies and Farma’s beats sound as high grade as ever. You can stream a couple of tracks from the project below and the full thing is available to download on Bandcamp. Continue reading “Mooch x Farma: Heroin Farms”

Farma Beats: 365 (Stream)

Great collection of tracks from Farma Beats, as he lays out some of his favourite collaborations over the past 12 months. There are tracks with Rome Streetz, Jalal Salaam, Recognize Ali, Mach Hommy, Sleep Sinatra and more. I recently said on Twitter that it’s a real pleasure to see Farma doing so well with these up and coming US artists, having already been witness to him influencing a whole generation of UK MCs over the past two decades. Long may it continue. You can stream 365 below and downloads are available via Bandcamp. Continue reading “Farma Beats: 365 (Stream)”

Recognize Ali: The Outlawed

Recognize Ali returns with a new project, following on from his God’s Vision LP back in March. The Outlawed promises to deliver more of the same level of lyricism as its predecessors, if the tasters we’ve been given so far are anything to go by, including the recent Mug Shots track. The beat selection is on point, with the likes of Big Ghost Ltd, Farma Beats, El Ay and Frank Grimes all providing tight contributions. There are also some decent guest spots too, as Ali is joined by Da Flyy Hooligan, Daniel Son and Estee Nack, among others. You can stream a couple of tracks below, but to download the full project or cop one of the physicals, head over to Greenfield Music. Continue reading “Recognize Ali: The Outlawed”

Farma & Son: Est. 92 (Stream)

Bit of a special release here, as Farma G – aka Farma Beats – unites with his son, Remus, for Est. 92. Having Task Force blood in your veins from the off was pretty much a guarantee that you were going to be a killer on the mic and that is exactly how Remus developed over the years. He’s shelled down appearances on SBTV, as well as highly notable guest features for the likes of Ocean Wisdom. Now he enters that rare breed of inter-generational collaboration and the result is pretty special. Five tracks with vocals by both Farma & Son, as well as full production from Farma throughout. A pleasure to see this happen and an additional pleasure to hear it work so well. You can stream the EP below and downloads are available via Bandcamp. Sleep Sinatra: [D] A R K A N G E L . (Stream)

Another solid project from Nebraska MC, Sleep Sinatra, as he follows up his earlier 2018 XMXTHXST EP with a full length album. [D] A R K A N G E L is a great mix in terms of production, with cats like EvillDewer, Farma Beats and Illastrate concocting potent backdrops for Sinatra’s intricate flows. His lyricism is often thought-provoking and arrives in a seemingly constant stream, making it hard not to get lost in his rhyme schemes. He is joined by a few guests on the mic too, with the likes of Stik Figa, Wakanda One and Recognize Ali all dropping by the booth. [D] A R K A N G E L is available to stream below and you can get a download over on Bandcamp. Continue reading “Sleep Sinatra: [D] A R K A N G E L . (Stream)”

Farma Beats: The Sentimental Alien (Album Stream)

As I mentioned last week, Farma Beats has been working on a new album and now we get to indulge ourselves in its full splendour, following its official release yesterday. Featuring a strong list of MCs from both the UK and the US, The Sentimental Alien is built on some of Farma’s strongest production to date and the calibre of the beats has enticed the guests involved to bring their best pen game to the project.
There are features from Lee Scott, Salar, Anyway Tha God, Smellington Piff, Remus, Flashius Clayton, Dirty Dike, Skuff and a whole load more. You can stream the album below and you can download it over on Bandcamp, where you can also find a bit more background information on how it all came to be.
