Surprise release from Lee Scott, as he sneaks out Oh, The Fun We’re All Having – probably just one of 1,700 projects he’s sitting on right now. The EP stands at six tracks long, including the previously released, What If Lee Was a Lil Rapper… joint. Production comes from Lee, Nobodies Home, Sniff and DEW8. There are also a few features from Sniff, Black Josh, Lyza Jane and Jazz T. You can stream the EP below, with downloads available via Bandcamp. Like so many of his 90’s rap predecessors, Salar is one of those talented cats who despite appearing on a whole load of different releases over the years and amassing something of a cult-like status in the process, has yet to put out a solo release. That is until now.
I know from speaking with the Blah MC in the past, that he has been steadily working on perfecting his solo album and now we seem to be nearing the fateful date, as today saw the release of a new solo video. Continue reading “Salar: Demigod Complex”
It’s easy to lose track of Lee Scott’s various projects and which songs relate to which releases because he brings out so many in quick succession. If you’ve ever read any interviews with the Blah MC, then you will know that he literally doesn’t know how to stop making music and as a result he is always sitting on about four or five projects.
DONOVAN is the latest track to be lifted from his SUPERGOD5000 project, which was released at the end of last year. The track is produced by DEW8 and features fellow Blah boys, Will Sniff, Stinkin Slumrok and Salar. The video was filmed by Lyza.
Another day, another new Lee Scott video for your visual delight. This time it’s Beast Master Swegthousand, which features a sweet little appearance from Nah Eeto and contains great lines like “Bitch, I’ll tip the whiskey bottle like I’m lifting Simba”. It’s taken from Lee’s recent SUPERGOD5000PLUS EP which is peppered with gems like that throughout and features full production from DEW8. You can buy the EP here.
Your friendly local cult leader and rap don, Lee Scott, just released his brand new project. Humbly titled SUPERGOD5000PLUS, the EP is eight tracks strong, with Estonian production entity, DEW8, handling all the beats. We have already been treated to two videos, which emerged in quick succession last week and I’m happy to confirm the rest of the EP/album/whatever you want to call it follows in the same fashion. Loads of features from Sniff, Milk, Slumrok, Salar, Black Josh and Nah Eeto. You can stream the whole thing below and you can cop a download over on Bandcamp. Lee Scott continues the promo assault for his upcoming EP, with another new video from the project – the second to emerge this week. This time it’s a solo effort on the title track, with another nice beat from DEW8. Pre-orders for SUPERGOD5000PLUS are available now.
In typical Lee Scott fashion, the Blah figurehead casually announced the imminent arrival of a new project last week. SUPERGOD5000PLUS is produced in its entirety by DEW8 (read: Dewey) and features all the usual suspects, including this joint with Milkavelli and Sniff. Pre-orders for the album are available now over at the Blah store.
