Jack Danz: Dying Lotus (Stream)

Nice little selection of instrumentals from Jack Danz and the second instalment of his Dying Lotus beat tape series. Vaguely menacing with an abundance of “where the fuck did he find that?” samples, this tape only further certifies Danz as one of my favourite beatmakers in the UK. You can stream the tape below and downloads are available via Bandcamp, along with the first chapter which dropped back in April. Continue reading “Jack Danz: Dying Lotus (Stream)”

Defenders Of Style: Nosedive

Defenders Of Style are about to his us with a new EP and if the title track is anything to go by, it looks like it’s going to be another strong release from the Leeds quartet. Nosedive is produced by Adam Koots. The EP is available for pre-order now via Pang Productions, with a release date set for 14 December.

Swamp Harbour ft. Jack Danz: No Response

For those of you not in the know, Swamp Harbour is yet another cult within a cult, comprised of three of Blah’s finest. New material from the ever prolific Bisk, as he joins up with Jack Danz for the Cartunes & Serial EP. Danz provides some of his standard grittiness for Bisk to do his thing on and it’s all crammed into one 10 minute long mini mix, featuring fellow Blah cult member King Grubb. You can grab a free download now over on Bandcamp. Continue reading “Bisk: Cartunes & Serial EP”

Joe Snow ft. Datkid & Res One: She Wish

Strong first release from the new Joe Snow LP that just dropped. She Wish sees the Defender of Style MC joining forces with Datkid and Res One, on a typically nice beat from the donny Hashfinger. The full album, I Know You Know Me You, is available to download for free now over at the Pang Productions Bandcamp. Definitely worth picking up.
