Aim: Interview

I first heard Aim – aka Andy Turner – on an Ibiza chill out compilation back in 1999, thanks to the crossover appeal of his track, Cold Water Music. That whole album was a big success and since then he has gone onto release some equally strong projects, as well as set up his own label, Atic Records. I recently spoke with him about a few things, including his early days, his plans for the label and his father’s influence on his career.

AIM & QNC: Lyrical Expert

This follows on from the success of their 2015 Habit of a Lifetime project and will feature two remixes from Cazal, as well as this new AIM track. QBall and Curt Cazal have been involved in hip hop since the late 80s, earning their stripes with classic acts like JVC Force. They have managed to maintain a solid foothold in the game through more recent years, thanks to their work with the Grand Central label and more specifically, AIM.
