Cobes: Deja Vu

The good music run continues with the new video from Cobes. Despite being a player on the scene since the early LDZ days, this is Cobes’s first solo release and hopefully a sign that a full project is in the works. For Deja Vu Cobes has enlisted the production talents of regular Potent Funk collaborator, Don Piper, with Spin City Visuals on video duties (a video which could be deemed NSFW, so beware!). Absolute filth from LDZ on their latest track, Hero. Dabbla, Cobes and Harry the Bastard each bring a tasty verse to Sumgii’s superbly glitchy production. The video was made by Spin City Visuals. You can buy and stream Hero here.

LDZ: Switcheroo

A very welcome return for one of the UK’s best loved crews and pioneers of that hybrid rap shit, LDZ. Dabbla, Cobes and Sumgii had been talking about reuniting to make new music together, after smashing out a string of successful side projects and then a couple of weeks ago it was revealed that we would indeed be treated to some new music. Switcheroo is the result and it’s a return to fine form for the gang. I’m pretty sure it won’t be the last we hear from them either. The track is available to buy now on Potent Funk.

LondonZoo “LimaDeltaZebra”

LondonZoo and ThinkZebra have teamed up to release a new tee, as well as a new track, LimaDeltaZebra.
