7th Dan: Above Unity Device

Hyped to see new music from 7th Dan doing the rounds, especially when he’s managed to cram seven beast MCs on the track too. Featuring none other than Ray Vendetta, Flowtecs, Tesla’s Ghost, Cyrus Malachi, Cappo, Jonny Data and Cosha Don, Above Unity Device is a heavy bars party from start to finish. Hopefully this is a sign that more music from 7th Dan will be emerging soon. Watch this space.

Cappo: Ether

Cappo is back with a new video, taken from his forthcoming album, Dramatic Change of Fortune. Caps produced the track himself with a little help from Theorist and its available to buy now on YNR. If you’re in the area, the Notts legend is doing an in-store at Rough Trade Nottingham next Friday. More news on the album when I get it.

Little slice of rap madness here, as VVV aka Nottingham trio Juga-Naut, Cappo and Vandal Savage, unite on Bozo Boyz. This could be the start of something interesting.

UK favourite Cappo is back with The Boot EP and the first single to be taken from it, Yul Brynner. The EP is produced by Jazz T and Zygote, and is rife with 70’s cop show samples. It is available to purchase over at the Boot Records Bandcamp.

So what have you been up to since we last heard from you?

I have been keeping busy working on the “Needle Drop” EP with Endemic, it’s been almost a year in the making since me and Demic sat down and made plans for the EP and started to compile tracks towards it.
