Highly entertaining new video from Wish Master, as he continues to polish off the gems from his Boom Bap To The Future album. Science sees the Bristol-based rapper playing both himself and an elderly lady called Blanche, in a riff that Eddie Murphy would be proud of. The video also features a number of cameos, including fellow Bristol lyricist, Buggsy, who finds himself having a smoke and drink with Wish on the moon. The whole thing has a great DIY B-Movie vibe about it, which only adds to the entertainment value. Science is produced by Baileys Brown and is lifted from BBTTF, which is out now on Official Recordings. Continue reading “Wish Master: Science”

Premiere – DROG Beats ft. Sylla B & Buggsy: Enemies
Bristol in full effect on this brand new track from rising producer, DROG Beats, as he brings in two generations of local MCs. Any regular visitors to my blog will already know about Sylla B and his rise over the last couple of years, thanks to his often devastating flows. He is joined on the track by Bristol double-time OG and all-round lyrical monster, Buggsy. As you can imagine the final product is pretty special and highlights Bristol’s lengthy history of producing great lyricists. Enemies is also available to stream on all the usual platforms.
Wish Master ft. Tac & Buggsy: The Waves Coming
Another Bristol banger from Wish Master’s triumphant Boombap To The Future LP. For The Waves Coming, the Official Recordings MC has drafted in some top local talent in the form of Tac and Buggsy, all backed up with a solid beat from Simiah. The video was made by Don Wavy. Boombap To The Future is out now.
Wish Master: Boombap To The Future (Stream)
Bristol-based MC, Wish Master (FKA Wish) is one of many artists in the UK who has been consistently going from strength to strength for a while now and this new solo album feels like the culmination of all that effort. Despite having put out a number of releases over the years, this is the first full-length solo LP that Wish Master has blessed us with and it is a worthy addition to his ever-expanding catalogue.
As the title suggests, this is something of a head-nod extravaganza, thanks to the always reliable Baileys Brown, who handles virtually all the production on the album. There are also a few notable guest spots along the way, with Tac, Glock, Tug MC, Scarboy, Jordan Nathaniel, Walter Black and Buggsy on hand to bolster the project. You can stream Boombap To The Future in full below, with downloads and physicals available via Bandcamp, including a limited edition double vinyl run.
