DRS x Redeyes: Which Hunt + EP Stream

Poignant bars from DRS, as he blesses us with a new video from his recent Coloured EP, which he made alongside French producer, Redeyes. The EP features seven tracks, all recorded in the seven days following the tragic death of George Floyd and the subsequent protests against police brutality. Black Thought: Thought vs. Everybody

Important music here from Black Thought, as he provides some visual accompaniment for his latest track, Thought vs. Everybody, the audio for which was released a week or so ago. As you will see, the video brings further clarity and importance to Tariq’s bars, thanks to some striking imagery of daily scenes from Black American lives, juxtaposed with photos and footage of black leaders and activists. The track is also spliced with audio clips from some notable black speakers, adding further weight to the song’s overall impact. The track is lifted from Streams of Thought Vol. 3: Cane and Able, which is due for release shortly.

Small Professor: A Jawn Supreme (Vol. 1)

The man of a million jawns returns with his latest selection, a timely compilation of his favourite tracks, which have all been remastered to perfection. As the title suggests, there are more volumes to follow, but for now you can be satisfied with this run of poignant tracks, including the essential, wish cops would stop killing unarmed black people. You can listen to the album below and there are downloads available on Bandcamp, as well as some t-shirts which were made as a tribute to Breonna Taylor. Featuring a lovely design by collage king, Dewey Saunders, 100% of profits from the shirts will be donated to Breonna’s official GoFundMe page.
