At the time those words were all he had, but last week saw the release of the first track from the project. Black Milk: Laugh Now Cry Later (Video) + Album Stream
Black Milk recently released his new album, Fever, which boasts a number of politically charged and socially aware tracks, including Laugh Now Cry Later. The track deals with the impact of social media on our lives, including how much some people change based on their online persona. The video, directed by Gerard Victor, shows social media users in sometimes grotesque trance-like states, accompanied by excerpts from online chats. MED & Guilty Simpson: Loyalty EP
New project looming from MED & Guilty Simpson as they join forces for the Loyalty EP. The pair first united on J Dilla’s Jungle Love back in 2006 and after a few more collaborations along the way, they have now decided to bring forth a full project. Production will be handled by Black Milk, MNDSGN, Exile and Preme, with guest spots from Blu, J Mitchell and Joyce Wrice. No tracks have been released yet, but you can pre-order the EP now over on Bandcamp.
