Dolenz: Howzer + EP Stream

Black Josh: Locals

Another very strong single from Black Josh and his upcoming Mannyfornia album, which is due for release in the near future. Locals sees the Blah MC teaming up once again with fellow LEVELZ affiliate and producer, Metrodome. More news on the album when I’ve got it.

Black Josh x Metrodome: Self Destruction

Brand new bars from Black Josh, as he kicks off the year with another leak from his forthcoming album. On Self Destruction, the Manchester rapper has united with his LEVELZ pal, Metrodome, who lays down a heavy drum-driven beat for Josh to get busy on. The album, Mannyfornia, is due for release in the not too distant future on Blah Records.

Black Josh: Nite Time

Yesterday we were treated to the first sample from the forthcoming Black Josh album, as he released a video for a new track called Nite Time. Featuring production from METRODOME, the track is taken from Mannyfornia, which is due for release soon on Blah Records. Streams of Nite Time are also available.

Lyza Jane: Housebound (Stream)

Next up we’ve got the debut album from Lyza Jane, which follows on from a string of singles and an EP with Sniff, which was one of last year’s highlights. I find it hard to pinpoint exactly what genres Lyza’s music fits into, as there are a lot of different influences at work, but hip hop definitely plays a big part in her inspiration. Housebound features appearances from Lee Scott, Black Josh and Danny Lover, with beats from Lee, Sniff and Lyza, who handles the majority of the production herself. LEVELZ: Warning Call (LVL 47)

New music from LEVELZ, as the Manchester collective return with the LVL 47 aka Warning Call. This time round mic duties are handled by Sparkz, Chimpo and Black Josh, with Metrodome and Sparkz on the beat. As usual you can grab a free download over on Bandcamp. The video was made by Tarnish Vision.

Black Josh: Ciggaweed + Album Stream

Last week saw the release of the latest album from Black Josh. Yung Sweg Lawd is arguably his strongest work to date, with the Manchester MC exploring a wide range of production styles, while managing to sound at home on all of them. The production is handled by a host of talent, including fellow LEVELZ members Biome and Metrodome, as well as the likes of Jack Danz, Reklews, dylantheinfamous, Sly Moon and Pitch 92. There are also a bunch of strong features, including Milkavelli, Truthos Mufasa, Lee Scott, ELIZA and Sniff. The album is available to stream below and you can also watch the latest video from the project for the Skepta produced banger, Ciggaweed. Downloads are available via Blah.

Black Josh ft. Nah Eeto: Judge Judy

A new video from Black Josh just landed, as he continues to build the hype for his upcoming Yung Sweg Lawd album. Judge Judy features one of Blah’s leading ladies, Nah Eeto, with some typically on-point production from Jack Danz. The video was made by Slim Parisoo.

New joint from Black Josh & Sleazy as they reunite on Liquorwish. The track is produced by Morriarchi and you can stream it below.

Black Josh: What I Need

Another new joint from Black Josh, the next to be taken from his forthcoming YungSwegLawd album. What I Need is produced by Ell Boy and the video was shot by Slim Parisoo (aka DEW8). YungSwegLawd is due out shortly on Blah Records; more on that to follow.
