Ric Branson: Consortium Dreams Pt. 2 (Stream)

Let’s stick with UK legends for a second, as we turn to the latest release from one time Universal Soldier, Ric Branson (FKA Ricochet). This EP is the follow up to Consortium Dreams Pt. 1, which was only released at the start of this month. The second instalment features production from a number of notable names, including Sonnyjim, Karnate and Branson’s original producer of choice, A.H.Fly. Plus there are cuts from Evil Ed and Juice, who also contributes some production for the EP. You can listen to the full thing below and you can find downloads for all Branson’s recent releases on Bandcamp.

Ric Branson: The Technician (Stream)

Another solid release from Ric Branson (fka Ricochet), as he delivers his new album, The Technician. Building on the foundations he laid back in the early 00’s alongside Ultra and A.H.Fly, the UK veteran displays all the signs of a still hungry MC across these 16 tracks.
He’s in good company too, as he’s joined on the album by Melanin 9, Ray Vendetta, Cons and Tesla’s Ghost, plus some tight production contributions from A.H.Fly, Evil Ed, Cons, Juice and Giallo Point. Also keep an ear out for the follow up to Ric’s classic cut from back in the day, Mad Runningz. The Technician is available to stream below and you can find downloads over on Bandcamp. Mcabre Brothers: Tell A Friend

Tell A Friend is the first video to be lifted from the new Mcabre Brothers EP of the same name. The video features Lee Scott and Milkavelli in some eerie part animated form, as well as some excellent production from Universal Soldiers favourite, A.H. Fly. The vinyl edition of Tell A Friend is available now via the Blah store, with the digital version following later this month.

Ric Branson: Indigo + Album Stream

One of the UK’s most respected MCs and arguably one of its most missed, has been taking steps towards the limelight once more. Ric Branson – FKA Ricochet of Universal Soldiers infamy – has reunited with old production partner A.H.Fly for a new project. Indigo is actually the second drop from the Epilogue album, following on from Uh Oh which was released back in November and marks the start of a new chapter for the London veteran. You can stream the album below and you can cop a download via Bandcamp. Continue reading “Ric Branson: Indigo + Album Stream”
