Lots of beautiful music surfacing today, including this latest offering from Damu The Fudegmunk. If you’ve been checking the blog over recent weeks / months, you might well have seen me talking about this one already as it marks the beginning of a new series of releases between Def Pressé and KPM / EMI. Created using samples exclusively sourced from KPM’s legendary library, Damu’s Conversation Peace is an album that sounds at once nostalgic and timely. Features include some usual suspects, in the form of Raw Poetic, Blu and Insight, as well as a superb cut from Nitty Scott. Check the full splendour for yourself below, then head to Bandcamp for all your download and vinyl needs. I was lucky enough to talk with Damu recently, where we dissected the making of the album.
