Following on from the release of two solid singles, we can all now enjoy the full splendour of the latest EP from Gabe ‘Nandez. Seven is rooted in the New York rap that paved the way for artists like ‘Nandez to shine, while embracing the more modern sounds of the city’s still burgeoning scene. Those previously mentioned singles are the perfect example of that duality, with Osiris sounding like it could easily have burst through your speakers at the tail-end of the last millennium, while the ELUCID assisted, Coupé Décalé, feels very much like a product of the more recent wave. And I’m here for all of it, especially as ‘Nandez doesn’t drop a dud bar throughout the entirety of the EP. You can test this out for yourself below, with streams and downloads also available from the usual spots.
