SAULT: NINE (Stream)

Another unheralded release from SAULT, save for an enigmatic Instagram post that showed up the other week. NINE marks their fifth album release in two years, ever since they burst on the scene with 5 back in 2019. Once again the album is fuelled by a pro-Black and anti-police stance, with production criss-crossing across multiple genre. Aside from the elusive main players, there is a feature from Little Simz – something I’ve been waiting on for a while – and also a contribution from Michael Ofo, who briefly narrates Mike’s Story, which focuses on his memories of a family tragedy. You can stream the album in full below, plus there are physicals available via Bandcamp.
